Who is Leaping Woman?
My name is BJ Wishinsky and Leaping Woman is my personal blog. I'm a feminist, nonprofit techie, nature lover, community builder, network connector, diversity advocate, and funnier in person.I started the Leaping Woman blog in 2007 when I left my high-tech position to volunteer at a nonprofit and redirect my career. I took as my motto the John Burroughs' line, "Leap and the net will appear." Since then I've helped thousands of women technologists connect with resources, opportunities, allies, and each other.
